The British Library houses stories, spoken word, playscripts and poetry from writers across the globe. And now it’s your turn! Become a writer for the day in this creative writing workshop for Secondary and Further Education students.
Led by professional writers, this session will introduce learners to a range of creative techniques to generate new writing. Students will gain confidence in drafting and editing their own work and take a guided tour through our Treasures of the British Library gallery to look at some of the incredible original draft material on display from writers whose words changed the world.
These sessions have been made possible thanks to support from Old Possum’s Practical Trust
