Families and community

We welcome families and community groups throughout the year to take part in creative activities inspired by the British Library's collections and exhibitions

We have recently opened some of our spaces in St Pancras as the first step of a phased reopening: however, our onsite family programme will remain closed until further notice.

In the meantime, you can explore our fun activities below – from storytelling videos to craft and play ideas! You can also keep in touch with us on Twitter.

We will be updating this page when we have more information about the relaunching of our onsite programme. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Sensory activities
