We are inviting applications for an Edison Visiting fellowship to take place between September 2017 and August 2018.

The Edison Fellowships are designed to encourage scholarship devoted to the history of recordings of classical music and music in performance. Edison Fellows can easily make concentrated use of the British Library's collections of recordings.

Proposals will be considered which treat any aspect of the history of recording and the performance of western art music.

Applicants need to apply before Monday 30 January 2017.
