The Conference takes place at the Queens Hotel in Leeds from 28 August to 30 August 2019 with the themes ‘our careers, our workplace and our profession’. British Library Digitisation Services will be exhibiting at the Information Village on 28-29 August.

British Library digitises 600-year old Malmesbury Bible

The Friends of Malmesbury Abbey commissioned the British Library to digitise four volumes of its bible, known as the Malmesbury Bible, this summer. Malmesbury had one of the most important libraries in Europe in the Middle Ages and was home to 12th-century historian and monk William of Malmesbury.
