Welcoming you back safely

Outside the King's Tower

We're back

Published date:

Our Reading Rooms, Reader Registration, public desks and Members’ Room are now open to pre-booked visitors, and we’re so excited to see you.

All your visits must be pre-booked and we’ve seen high demand for the first few weeks of tickets. Please check back for returns if you can’t book right away.

Our galleries will reopen from 18 May and you can now book tickets for Unfinished Business: The Fight for Women's Rights (open until 1 August) and the accompanying free display Khadija Saye: in this space we breathe (open until 7 October), as well as Hebrew Manuscripts: Journeys of the Written Word (now open until 6 June), and our Treasures Gallery.

Find out more about how we’re welcoming you back safely, or if you’re not ready to return just yet we’re always open online

And whether you're returning to our Reading Rooms or researching remotely for a little longer, you can take a peek inside our gleaming tower of brass and glass – the King's Library, in our new curators on camera.
