On Wednesday 14 June, we will be switching to a new version of the Explore Archives and Manuscripts catalogue.
We will be transferring any data you currently have saved in My Workspace to My Favourites as part of this transition. Please do not make any additions to My Favourites before Wednesday 14 June, as they will be overwritten when we migrate the data. You will still be able to place requests for items during the transition period.
You may have seen the Beta version of this new catalogue already, as since the end of March you have been able to choose which version of the catalogue to use.
When you search this new version you’ll find all the same records, but we’ve made a few changes to make it easier to find what you need:
- no tabs; this means the records are easier to read
- details are now displayed in the full record
- available online content is more obvious
- links to requesting items are more visible
- my Workspace has been replaced with My Favourites
- Resource Recommender links to related content
- improved creation date filter
- Improved accessibility.
