The title of this plan appears at the top, together with the arms of Sir Henry Bankes, the ward Alderman who commissioned the plan. Also featured is a list of elected ward members sitting in the Court of Common Council, one of the two governing bodies of the City of London. A key to alleys, yards and courts appears to the right of the plan.
