What can people expect from your workshops?

“To help entrepreneurs grow their businesses, we create and manage brands, design marketing material, develop websites and digital marketing campaigns, and provide marketing consultancy and training. Our mission is to make marketing easy!

My workshops are aimed at creative and cultural businesses looking to grow. My branding workshop will help attendees to understand how brand and brand identity can help their business grow. As well as providing definitions to demystify brand, I'll demonstrate how attendees can create, strengthen and improve their brand.

In my marketing strategy workshop, I'll help attendees to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. We'll explore target audience, key messages and the most appropriate marketing tactics. I'll also advise on how to monitor return on investment from marketing activity.”

What’s the one BIPC resource you love to recommend to people?

“In the North East (when working with BIPC North East, where I’m an Expert in Residence), I always like to 'direct' people to other Experts in Residence. We have a fantastic broad mix of experts covering many different areas. The most under-utilised at the BIPC resource is probably free-to-access databases. Mintel can be beneficial when researching and planning a new business or product launch.”

Your best piece of business advice?

“KISS - Keep it simple stupid.”
