I am responsible for developing, improving access to, and interpreting our collections of publications from the UK and Ireland from 2001 onwards, in both print and digital formats. I am interested in building on our collections of alternative and DIY publishing, including zines and fanzines (print and online). I am also interested in bringing in publications that give an insight into all aspects of contemporary cultural production, including UK publishing in languages other than English and counter-cultural expression.

I was previously Curator of Arabic, with an academic interest in Algerian and Maghrebi literature, and I retain an interest in world literature, and the reception and dissemination of Middle Eastern and North African writing. I am also interested in broadening the range of our collections of archived websites for the open UK Web Archive.
