I support the Digital Research team to deliver the Digital Scholarship Training Programme to British Library staff. I began in libraries as a volunteer for my local Family Literacy Centre, a public lending library that aimed to provide a safe space for children after school. I then went to the University of St Andrews where I achieved an MA in English and an MLitt in Medieval English. I began working in a library once more, this time as a data-input volunteer with the Archives and Local Studies Library for my county, before transitioning to my work here at the Library. I am especially interested in palaeography and codicology pertaining to Early English manuscripts, as well as how digital tools are enabling researchers more access than ever to these rare works.
