Irène Fabry-Tehranchi is a specialist of French Literature and holds a doctorate in French medieval literature. Her research encompasses Arthurian romances and chronicles, and text and image relations, from medieval manuscripts to early printed books.

After teaching French language, literature and culture in French and UK universities, she is now curating Modern and Contemporary French printed collections at the British Library.
