Areas of responsibility 

The Head of Operations (South) is responsible for all of our Reader & Reference services, including the smooth operation of our Reading Rooms and the provision of research and reference services to our Readers and remote customers.

He is also responsible for the development of the St Pancras site. St Pancras Transformed is a major part of our Living Knowledge vision to 2023 which aims to focus efforts on increasing, amongst other things, the Library’s offer for Culture, Business, and Learning.

Areas of expertise

Jerry has worked at the British Library for over 10 years and has worked extensively on delivering major projects such as the Additional Storage and National Newspaper Buildings at our Boston Spa site, and the relocation of the Library’s newspaper services to new facilities in St Pancras and the refurbished Boston Spa Reading Room, both of which opened in 2014.
