The Chief Librarian is responsible for developing and managing the Collections, curating and interpreting them, developing our services for researchers, our research strategy, and developing our programme of work in digital scholarship.

The Chief Librarian is also responsible for the development of services and access for learners of all ages, for the business and entrepreneurial community, our cultural programme of exhibitions & events, and for international engagement, managing high level diplomatic and professional visits to the Library, as well as work with European national libraries and other international library organisations.


Current Salary Band: £120,000 to £125,000
