Peter works on our Get Ready for Business Growth mentoring programme and works for Agile Group, who are a training consortium specialising in training mentors and coaches. They train more coaches and mentors in the UK than any other organisation, from introductory training for new mentors right through to full ILM level 7 qualifications in Executive coaching.

How did you become involved in delivering events for the BIPC?

“We love being involved in the mentoring programme as it has a profound impact on helping others build their businesses and also helps stimulate the economy. BIPC is particularly exciting due to the types of organisations they support and the quality of mentors and mentees the programme attracts.”

What’s the one BIPC resource you love to recommend to people?

“I think that the webinars are amazing and a brilliant source of expertise – I use them all the time to inform me as a mentor.”

Your best piece of business advice?

“Never walk straight out of the room after talking to someone – spend five minutes reflecting, listening for what you didn’t hear in the moment and making notes to make the next meeting with them better.”

“Outside of work, you’ll find me either working on my PhD, doing some form of exercise, or at the allotment!”
