I am interested in the creation and enrichment of digitised collections and the innovative use of digital culture heritage. I oversee the internal digitisation approvals process, sit on several digitisation projects boards, am one of the product owners for the Library’s Universal Viewer and chair the internal open access newspapers working group.

I am a member of the AHRC Peer Review College and am the Co-Investigator on the AHRC-funded project Legacies of Catalogue Descriptions and Curatorial Voice: Opportunities for Digital Scholarship.

I contributed to two European Commission funded projects, SUCCEED (2013-14) and Europeana Newspapers (2012-15) and have represented the Library on the European Commission Member States Experts Group on Digitisation and Digital Preservation and on the Executive Board of the IMPACT Centre of Competence.

I have a research background in Classics, several years of experience as rare books librarian working with the Library’s 19th-century British printed collections and am a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner.
