Sara holds a degree in Chinese Studies with specialisation in archaeological-artistic productions obtained at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy. She has worked both in Europe and China for various academic, diplomatic and public cultural institutions as teacher, events coordinator and language programs manager.

She has been working at the British Library since 2014 and her duties include the management of the Library’s Chinese collection and the organization of digitisation, learning and other international projects with institutional partners in China.

Sara is particularly interested in the history of books, printing, and publishing, in museum studies, and in contemporary cultural diplomacy.
