Since joining the Library in 2000, Simon has worked in and managed a variety of teams across the Collection Management area. Based at the Boston Spa site, his role in Digital Preservation began in 2015 where he has been heavily involved in the preserving of the Library’s legacy collection held on floppy disk and CD-ROM as well maintaining and developing a Software Repository.

He also helps deliver the communications activities of the team through newsletters and events and in the delivery of an internal digital preservation training programme.
