Biography

Mia Morris was a member of the Organisation of Women of Asian and African Descent, and was coordinator of the Heart of the Race: Oral Histories of the Black Women's Movement, for the Black Cultural Archives. She is a consultant in black history and community work and runs community websites www.black-history-month.co.uk, www.international-womens-month.co.uk and www.wellplaced.co.uk.
