Three-month professional development fellowships for current PhD students, jointly supervised by the British Library and the National Trust.

We are delighted to be working with the National Trust on a joint programme of doctoral fellowships. These three-month (or part-time equivalent) projects professional development opportunities to current PhD students to gain experience working with cultural organisations.

The fellowships are part of a partnership between our organisations , launched in 2021, which aims to establish collaborative research and increase public knowledge about how our collections have intertwined throughout history.
