Bridge With triumphal arches at either end, built using boats chained together. Artillery Salvo fired by the 2000 troops guarding the bridge.
Procession_by_water On specially decorated barges, first across the Po and then downstream to Ferrara. Banquet Provided onboard. Music Played as they cross the river Po and then as they travelled on to Ferrara. Dance Duke orders dances for his cousin: voltas, corrantos, allmaynes, and roundes.
Gift From the pope of a carriage in crimson velvet and gold with matching footmen. Gift A litter from Duke of Sesa on behalf of Philip III. She is also given another coach.
Entry Into Ferrara. She rides to the Pope's Palace. Audience With the Pope. Mass At 11 o'clock.
Music Four voices singing Aparuit Regina. Ceremony Proxy marriage performed by the Pope with Albert standing in for Philip.
Masque Masquing and dancing by land and water.
Theatrical_Performance A Comedy was performed to end the ceremonies at Ferrara. Entry Into Mantua after being greeted by the Duke.
Procession Description of the noblemen bearing the Queen's litter (all worth at least 20,000 crowns a year). Hunt At a Castle of the Duke outside the city.
Fireworks A castle made of fireworks, which last until 2 am. Theatrical_Performance Another comedy put on for the queen. Mantuan entertainments cost 25,000 crowns and the cost of troops and horses 50,000 crowns.
Entry Into Cremona.
Gift From the magistrate of a coffer of silver full of rings and jewels. Entry Into Lodi.
Triumphal_Arch Permanent arch of stone made to commemorate her entry. Entry Into Milan, not as great as that into Mantua, according to the author.
