Sue Vine

Sue Vine, geologist, worked as a research assistant for Drummond Matthews in the Department of Geodesy and Geophysics, University of Cambridge, contributing to the development of the sea-floor spreading hypothesis associated with Matthews and her husband, Fred Vine. After starting a family she continued to work part-time drafting for other academics as well as getting involved in fieldwork on family holidays.More recently she has been a tutor for the Open University.
