Naila Ahmad, Naila Ahmad London

Business & IP Centre Waltham Forest ambassador

A business woman smiles while holding two cushions in the air to show off her products.

Naila is the founder of Naila Ahmad London, a vibrant homeware and apparel brand inspired by the rich colours, prints and heritage of her Pakistani culture. What began as a therapeutic hobby during a difficult period living with fibromyalgia and depression soon revealed Naila’s natural flair for design. In 2016, she officially launched her business from home, creating hand-printed scarves, clothing, accessories and gifts. As demand for her products grew, Naila expanded into a studio in Leyton and, most recently, secured a pop-up stall in John Lewis at the busy Westgate shopping centre, a major milestone for the brand.

Throughout her journey, Naila has drawn on the support of her local Business & IP Centre in Waltham Forest to help grow and shape her business. From expert support and free training to local market opportunities, the BIPC has played a key role in her development as an entrepreneur. Now a proud ambassador, Naila continues to share her story and support others on their business journeys.

“My local Business & IP Centre has supported my business through expert guidance, markets and free training. As an ambassador I’ve gained exposure, income and opportunities to support others. The free workshops have boosted my business, especially its online presence.”
