Patty and Ali are the founders of Sweet Paper Creations, a not-for-profit piñata business that supports mental wellbeing through crafting and creativity. What began as a simple way for their family to spend time together, soon became a powerful tool for connection, expression and emotional support.

As they discovered the positive impact of crafting, Patty and Ali decided to turn their idea into a business with purpose. Together they’ve built a business that brings joy to others while promoting creativity and wellbeing in the community, one handcrafted piñata at a time.

Throughout their journey, Patty and Ali have received ongoing support from their local Business & IP Centre in Waltham Forest. From one-to-one guidance and mentoring to free training and access to vital business resources, the Business& IP Centre has been instrumental in helping them grow their business and stay focused on what matters most.
