Dr Wei Yang FAcSS FRTPI

Wei Yang is an internationally renowned town planner and urban designer. She is the CEO of the Digital Task Force for Planning and Chair of Wei Yang & Partners. Wei served as President of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2021 and now chairs the Construction Industry Council.

She is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), and a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Client Adviser. She is also an Honorary Professor at University College London.

Currently Chair of the British Library Capital Portfolio Committee.

Appointed on 13 May 2019. Second 4-year term expires on 12 May 2027.
