- Persons names, nicknames, dates, nationality, mottoes, emblems, portraits and roles
Records may contain images in addition to text
Historical, bibliographical and critical information is listed in a Notes field in each record.

The database has been compiled for the Italian Academies AHRC-funded project (AH/H023631/1) by Simone Testa and Lorenza Gianfrancesco, under the direction of Jane Everson (Project Director), Lisa Sampson and Denis Reidy (Co-investigators) with the assistance of Tom Denman (PhD candidate).
