Notice for new Readers

We’re currently experiencing an issue affecting some recently-issued Reader Passes.

10 April 2026

We have identified an issue with Reader accounts that means currently Readers who are looking to set up their account cannot reset their password to access the catalogue or request items.

This will affect any Reader who has attempted to set up an account associated with their Reader Pass from 9 April 2026. We therefore recommend you wait until after the weekend to register for your Reader Pass when we expect this issue to be resolved.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and are working to fix this as quickly as possible.
