Provenance Made for a Dominican house: 11 other leaves, once part of the same Antiphonal, some show Dominican saints (3 leaves, Yates Thompson MS LXXXIIIA with the Dominican saint Peter Martyr; 8 leaves, Victoria & Albert Museum MSS. 8997 A-H with Thomas Aquinas and Dominic).
Henry Willett, of Arnold House, Brighton: his sale, Christie's, 5 July 1905; bought by Quaritch (according to the Yates Thompson Catalogue 1907).
Henry Yates Thompson (b. 1838, d. 1928), collector of illuminated manuscripts and newspaper proprietor: bought from Quaritch, 21 July 1905 (according to the Yates Thompson Catalogue 1907).
Bequeathed to the British Museum by Mrs Henry Yates Thompson in 1941.
